Kingston 10k - River Thames Running events in Kingston & Hampton Court

'Russell-Cooke' Kingston 10k 2026 POSTPONED

The Kingston 10k will not be returning in 2026 whilst we work on improving the course. The Kingston Half Marathon will be taking place.

We instead invite runners to our next 10K event taking place inside Kew Gardens on the 3rd April 2027. More info

The ‘Russell-Cooke‘ Kingston 10K will start at the historical Kingston Market Place and journey through the high street, before going under Kingston Bridge and along the riverside path towards Teddington Lock. From here the course travels back through Canbury Gardens and along the idyllic Kingston riverside before finishing back at the Market Place. Check out the course here.

Organised by River Thames Running, you can be sure of a professional setup with plenty of friendly and experienced marshals to guide you safely around the course (Run England Licence ID: 28983).

Terrain:

The course is fast and flat, with tremendous riverside views on a mix of traffic free and road sections.

Prizes:

Vouchers from Born Bound for male and female: 1st Prize £50 2nd Prize £25 3rd Prize £15 and free entry for another River Thames Running Event.

First Aid:

Full professional cover in place throughout the course.

Marshals:

The entire course will be fully marshalled. Marshalls are volunteers so please say thanks to these amazing people!

Sweep Marshals:

A sweep Marshall will be present to assist athletes who do not complete the course and will be transported to the finish line.

Water Station Locations:

Water station on route @ 6.4K and at the finish. Course toilets are located at 2.5K and 6.8K.

Race entries are NOT TRANSFERABLE and NON-DEFERABLE. We do not permit a change of race number. A full refund will only be offered within 14 days of payment. After this there will be NO REFUNDS, DEFERRALS TO NEXT YEAR OR TRANSFERS TO ANOTHER RUNNER.
