Kingston Hospital Charity
We work with colleagues from across Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and with individuals and organisations in our community to maximise support for three main groups: Patients and their families, The committed and dedicated staff and The researchers.
Everything we achieve is thanks to our amazing supporters. With your help, Kingston Hospital is able to go further and faster than is possible with NHS funding alone.
We are immensely grateful to all who care for our hospital and we strive to ensure that all donations are spent as wisely and cost effectively as possible.
Maggies
At Maggie’s, we offer practical and emotional support to people with any type of cancer, at any stage, for free. From holding specific cancer support groups, to nordic walking, to providing financial and benefits advice, to managing side effects, stress or anxiety. We are a team of Cancer Support Specialists, Psychologists, Benefits Advisors, Art Therapists, Mindfulness coaches and Personal Trainers. Opening in 2008, the Maggie’s centre is on the groups of Charing Cross Hospital. Just come in.
We currently don’t receive any government funding and continue to run due to the generosity of our supporters.
River Boat Project
We provide access to the River Thames for people of all ages, including those with a special need, disability or mental health condition. We offer therapeutic cruises and deliver fun and dynamic educational and learning activities on the River Thames.
Alzheimer’s Society
Every three minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with dementia. At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. By joining our team, you’ll allow us to continue to help those living with dementia, and provide hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
Cancer Research UK
Today, 1 in 2 people now survive cancer; we want to get to 3 in 4 by 2034. Every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, and every runner. Cancer is happening right now. You can help beat it sooner. Join our team and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

This is unacceptable – but together we can change it.
