Kingston and Richmond Junior Running Clubs

Running and endurance is at the core of pretty much all team sports. We are very lucky to have so many options in South West London for children to get involved.

Fun Junior Handicap Series

The Stragglers and Ranelagh Junior Running Group (SRJRG) Junior & Mini Handicap Series.

The first event for 2026 will be held on Thursday 23rd April 2026. All events are at: Bushy Park Sports Club (formerly NPL), Pavilion Road, Queens Road, Teddington TW11 0EL.

Registration at 6.50 p.m., Minis start at 7.20 p.m., Juniors start at 7.30 p.m.


Richmond Junior parkruns

There are 3 junior parkruns that take place in the borough. 2 of them are every Sunday and one is held once a month. It is a free, fun, and friendly 2k event for juniors (4 to 14 year olds).

Moormead junior parkrun (Twickenham) is held every Sunday at 9am.

Latchmere Red Junior parkrun (Ham) is held every Sunday at 9am.

Bushy Park Junior parkrun (Teddington) is held on the first Sunday of the month at 9am.

Kestrel Running Club

Kestrel Club is brought to you by Momentum Sports  to help bring on the next generation of athletes in the south-west area of London. 

Who is it for? 

Everyone – of all abilities and levels of experience from Yr2 to Yr13 at school.  Older, more experienced athletes progress to Development and Performance squads within Momentum Sports.
