Another #FinisherMedal - thanks to all @RiverThamesRun for making the #RiverThamesHalfMarathon such a great run today!
@RiverThamesRun fab race as always
We came all the way from Swansea - we loved it !! Great run !! We will be back.
Great route, lookng forward to next year
Awesome, thanks for putting on such a great race this morning. After having to pull out of a race last weekend through injury, to say I'm over the moon to come away with my second fastest half marathon this morning is a understatement.
Excellent race as ever (my 4th) - and much preferred the new route - see you in March!
Definitely a better route this year. Great race thanks
Great race as usual. Well organised and preferred the new route.
What a lovely event!
Great race - bit blowy on the way back but a lovely day thanks!
Thanks for the day, it’s a great course. I’ll certainly be back next year hopefully.
Great weather, and a well-organised event.
really enjoyed the race & I had other friends running too who also had a great time.
That's amazing - and the goody bag was excellent - much better than most. It was brilliant having two twixes (one for each child ;). They loved getting something! Thank you!
Thanks for putting on a super run!
Loved the race - hope to do it again next year. Thanks for organising.
we all really enjoyed the race, it was a great course and well run. I’m sure a few of us will be back to run it again
I really enjoyed the race, the marshals were great, very supportive. The adjusted rout felt better, nice not to run past the finishing line
It was a great course and I enjoyed the race.
I enjoyed it and thought it was a really good event. Good course, well organised and nice atmosphere.
It is the first time I have run this race & thought it was very well organised with plenty of water stops and marshals.
I wanted to congratulate you on another great event. This has obviously become very successful as the number of runners has increased, and despite this the organisation and logistics were even better than before. The enthusiastic and friendly marshals make a huge difference and this is certainly on my calendar as one of my favourite events.
Thanks for a great race yesterday. A lovely course and a manageable number of runners for the course itself. The marshalling was very good too - I'd like to say a big thank you to the chap marshalling just before mile 10, who really spurred me on! Just a few words of encouragement as well as giving directions can make a real difference. It was a pretty good "goody bag" at the end! Thank you very much
Lovely race, no complaints at all, beautiful scenery and well marshalled. Thanks for a lovely race and PB
Thanks for friendly, enthusiastic organisation of yesterday’s race. Great team effort and great results service afterwards.
Thank you so much for today's event. I managed to finally break the 2 hour mark (beating my PB by 14 minutes)! The marshals were fantastic, resulting in a smooth, safe race. Would definitely recommend the event to friends. Thank you again
Well organised, good pre-race admin, well signed, friendly & efficient marshalls.
I ran the Autumn race and it was very scenic, with leaves starting to turn, rowers on the river and a nice atmosphere. I would have preferred my race number and chip in the post but the queue to pick them up moved quickly and there were sufficient toilets. There were plenty of marshalls, who were efficient and friendly, and pacers for those concerned with getting a PB.
Flat, fast, well organised and good Marshals
Loved the race today so thank you. Lovely course along the Thames path. Friendly marshals. Easy parking and plenty of toilets. All in a good flat run I will definitely do it again. Thanks again to everyone involved.
It was a fantastic event
Thank you for putting on such a brilliant and well organised event yesterday.
Thank you for organising a great event yesterday - it was both mine and my partner first half marathon - Lucy is registered blind and I had to get fit enough to run as her guide - with a sensible number of entrants and a mainly off road course it made the whole event thoroughly enjoyable - we will be back to try to beat our times. Thank you
This was my first half marathon and I stuck like glue to the 2.20 pacer and he was fantastic, I did slow down at mile 11 and lost him but did finish at 2.23 so please pass on my thanks! I have do it again !!
Brilliant race, well organised and fab marshals
New PB for me too! By 11mins!!!
New PB for me, just over 1 minute knocked off, very happy!
PB for me by over 5mins in my second half marathon - 1:52:15. Thank you for an awesome event #riverthameshalfrules!
Awesome race, new PB for me of 2.04.06 knocking over 3 minutes of my previous PB
New PB for me 1:55:08....it was worth the pain during the last 4 miles! First time of doing this race and loved it - already looking to book your Spring one for a sub 1:55! Brilliant race, great organisation, fab medal and goodie bag, lovely route and fab marshals...thank you for a fun morning!
Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all the organisers, marshals and volunteers. This was my first Thames Half and I absolutely loved it! Great course, great support and superbly organised. Will definitely running this again

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback on the inaugural River Thames Half Marathon on 5th October 2014. Where appropriate, we will be incorporating the feedback into the 2015 race. In particular, we have revised the route to take out the section on road which a few runners weren't comfortable running along and replaced it with more towpath which lots of runners said they enjoyed.
